Welcome!

I have adopted the phrase “Yoga For Everyone” because I believe there is a shade of yoga out there for every single person – young and old.  As our bodies change every day so do our needs.  Some practice yoga to keep their backs healthy and strong. Many use it to stay fit or for relaxing and preventing injury.  A lot of us use it as a resource to heal – inside and out.

Awareness

Being aware of your breath and staying present helps us listen to our bodies.  Listening to your always-changing body is really what yoga is all about.  Some days this will include a strong and challenging practice; other days your body will be asking for something slower and more meditative.  It’s important to me that you feel comfortable in class to do either.


Relax

Now more than ever it is SO important for us to take time to relax and decompress.  We have all become wizards at multi-tasking!  The demands of our lives can be stressful and taxing - physically, mentally and emotionally.   When you consider caffeine, busy schedules and technology, it doesn’t take too much for us to become depleted.  All of my classes finish with 10 minutes of guided mediation to enhance your relaxation; giving you the opportunity to rebalance and center … mind, body and spirit.


Classes

Currently I have group classes at
Oxygen Health and Wellness and Jupiter Fitness.  Child care and locker rooms are available for your use.  Please know that you DO NOT have to be a member to practice yoga there.  Day-passes and punch cards are available to meet the needs of most. Sweet Pea and Me
is now the home for Pre-natal, Mommy & Me and Kid’s Yoga classes.  What a special time to introduce yoga!  This beautiful space offers a fun atmosphere to playfully adapt yoga into the life of you and your little one.

Private Instruction

One-on-one instruction gives me the opportunity to fully customize your yoga practice.   If you are a beginner, have injuries or very specific needs, you should consider a private session to get you started. If you are a private person or even if you just enjoy being pampered - private and personalized instruction could be just the thing to help you deepen and develop your yoga practice.
